Discover Split through the eyes of a young explorer

Color Split with Duje is an interactive educational experience created for children and families visiting Split.

Instead of simply seeing the city, young explorers are invited to discover it.

Through original illustrations, short stories, fun facts, coloring pages and mini challenges, children follow Duje as he explores some of Split’s most recognizable places and discovers the stories hidden behind them.

From the heart of Diocletian’s Palace to the Riva and other iconic locations, every stop becomes a new part of the adventure.

More than a coloring book

Each location combines several layers of exploration:

    Take a piece of Split home and continue the adventure even after the journey ends.

Quest Vision

And then the illustrations come alive.

The physical adventure continues through Quest Vision, Heritage Quest’s interactive digital layer.

By scanning selected QR codes, children can unlock additional digital experiences connected to the places and stories they have just discovered.

It creates a bridge between a traditional printed activity and an interactive way of exploring a destination.

A new way for families to experience Split

Color Split was created to make the cultural and historical heritage of Split more accessible and engaging for its youngest visitors.

The project combines education, storytelling, creativity and digital interaction in a format designed specifically for families with children.

By turning landmarks into stories and exploration into play, the experience encourages children to pay attention to the city around them rather than simply move through it.

The result is both an activity during the visit and a lasting memory of Split that families can take home.

Created with the support of the Tourist Board of Split

The Color Split with Duje / OBOJI SPLIT project was developed and realized with the support of the Tourist Board of Split, as part of its 2026 programme supporting projects that contribute to the development and promotion of tourism in Split.

The support contributed to the development of the project’s original visual identity and illustrations, graphic design, educational content and storytelling concept.

Through this collaboration, the project was transformed from an idea into a completed educational tourism product designed to introduce Split’s cultural heritage to children and families in a new and engaging way.
